A few more Burpas.

Well the painting Mojo has not yet returned and while I did expect to have these done and on the blog before breakfast this morning you can see I a just a little late.

Firstly let me confess I am not 100% sure of the makes, it was all explained to me but I have since forgotten. BUT from left to right I believe them to be, Perry Miniatures, Empress Miniatures and three Foundry figures.  If I have that wrong please forgive me. They are all 28mm and Painted for my mate Matt. And I will return them to him on Sunday next!

There are 5 more started and they should be finished pretty soon IF I get any enthusiasm back. As you can see this lot are in the more muted palette of colours so should fit in very well with the rest.

So until then you will just have to put up with these figures and hope I can get some more done for Tuesday, when I would HOPE to post again.

All the best Clint

    1. Thanks Matt. All I know when I get the figures from Matt is what he wants to use them for and most often the Maker, BUT I have no idea what ranges they will be from!

I am not complaining I quite like the little Mysteries.

  7. Seeing these made me realise I've got a Foundry Indian princess figure somewhere that I was going to paint. I'll have to ignore the sudden desire to hunt the mini down and paint it, as I'd best finish the small bits of painting that I've started on my Star Wars X-Wing models.

Its the only trouble with popping over to other people's blogs, I spot something that takes my fancy and I end up forgetting what I was meant to be doing in the first place. Doh!

I'll pop back and see what you've managed, further, with the Burpas, and hope I don't end up with wargaming ideas running away from me after seeing them all.

    1. Thank you Roy. You sound like me! I always get inspired by others blogs and set off at a tangent to my projects.

Stick with x wing. It is a good game and will be even better with some unique space craft painted by you.

  8. These look pretty fine to me Clint, I'm sure it won't be too long before the old mojo is back in full swing.

    1. Thanks Michael. Mojo did return for a fleeting time but that has passed. But I do know it will come back sooner or later. I do Have more to do for Matt and want to hand them back this weekend. Matt does not mind if I do nor though so if the mojo stays away a bit longer, no biggie!

  9. Another fine example of your painting skills and I like these a lot, especailly as they're also how I think these guys should look, mostly dulled down with the occassional sprinkling of colour (qv the excellent blue-clothed chap).
I think we all paint better/faster with a deadline.
