I find that when I get near the end of a terrain board everything comes together in a rush. Today is an example. I have painted up the building top go on the board. Yes It's a bit rough in places, but seriously who cares too much about that. Yeah alright I know I do! But it's not too rough and plenty good enough to pass.
Keeping it brief so I can get back on with things. In particular the last few figures for the game.
Hope to talk soon. All the best Clint
Good building Clint, the extra 'L' makes it that much more interesting than just the normal cuboid shoe-box.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jo. We did talk about the possibility of a lean too.... but It never came into being.
DeleteI totally agree with Joe's comments. It's a good model, Clint.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bryan. Just some extra cover to hide behind....Nothing special. I just wish someone would make some 20mm Zombies!!!
DeleteJoe's nailed it. The L-shape's really made it and gives it a little extra interest
ReplyDeleteThank you Ad.
DeleteLooks perfectly functional. Sometimes I think we obsess too much over details (including interiors) and that gets in the way of just making something usable :-) .
ReplyDeleteThanks Hugh. yes it does not have to be anything other than functional. Good news and Bad news.... Good news is that I have all the materials to finish the boards. Bad news is that now I see the boards in daylight I can see the colours on the new ones are very different..... Oh well It shall be right by Broadside.......in June.
DeleteLooks good to me!
ReplyDeleteThank you Monk. It will pass muster )
DeleteNicely done, love the wall texture...
ReplyDeleteThank you Phil the wall texture is courtesy of a 3 inch brush!
DeleteThats a nice little building! You shouldn't worry about the little mistakes. The problem is, you see them when you're working on the building, but nobody else notices, really :). I think it's great as it is, and as it has been said, extra wall really helps. If you'd have any extra time, perhaps a coffee stirrer (it came to my attention you used none on this build yet!) for the door?
ReplyDeleteYou are Right of course about seeing your own mistakes. Later today or Tomorrow morning I will have pics of the game at a show.... The colours are wrong on 2 latest boards, but I can an will address that in the next month or so.
DeleteThank you Mathyoo.
