Samurai Red Bowmen.

Well it was only a matter of time. So here are my next lot of 10mm Pendraken Samurai. 7 stands each of 4 figures. I was trying for 8 stands but with missing figure it was easier to do 7 bases for now and sort out the last base of archers when I can find the absent without leave.

Anyway you should know by now these will be for my red army which is slowly growing. I expect a game or two in the coming months, unless I get distracted.... ooh look shinies! Yeah I know It's likely to happen. But until it does I will continue as I am just preparing for Salute.

  1. I know that feeling well Clint and the wait for Salute is killing me too, lol. Nice Samurai there, they remind me of Shogun Total War

    1. I am excited by Salute already. (Sad but true). And yes there is a Shogun Total war feel to these troops. Thank you Peter.

  2. I really like those! Reminds me of Shogun: Total war or what was that first game called.

The more I see of the 10mm, less I can understand how anyone plays large armies in 28...the mass just looks great when done in small scale.

    1. I have been converted to 10mm. I think it's a great scale. Yes they do look like Shogun :Total war. which is not in itself a bad thing. Thank you Mathyoo.

  3. They look really nice, Clint. Impressive work in 10mm. As far as side-tracking, guilty as charged. I have a playtest for a game I had initially planned for last December! Best, Dean

  5. 10mm is now way too small for my enfeebled vision and trembling hands.

    1. Sorry to hear that John. For me it has all the advantages of both 6mm and 15mm combined.

  6. 10mm is a great compromise between the other "small" ranges of 6mm and 15mm, the more I see of your 10mm forces the more I like them - great additions Clint. Next a Samurai 10mm camel unit maybe ?

  8. They look grand, Clint! Can't wait to see them defending some unique terrain you've no doubt have planned! ;)
you'll need at least an arch or a bridge with a lone samurai Musashi defending it! ;)
