Cavalier Swag!

The time id 4:15 and I have just got back from the Wargames show in Tonbridge. "Cavalier"

So having just munched a cheese sandwich the only thing I have eaten since 7am I will now go through my list of special and very needed prizes from the day. Starting from the left and working down fro the top.

4 Bags of figures WW1 Aircraft.

1 Pack of static grass as I had run out..... the first time ever!

1 Pack of Artizan Sky Pirates..... don't ask, they were an impulse buy!

3 Packs of 10mm Samurai...... Only 2 shown, but the price was right so I snaffled them up.

1 Zveda Sdkfz 222 (I did want 2 but 1 will do for now)

2 Packs of Peter Pig WW2 US Paras. (OK that's 1 pack of DEAD paras and one pack of US Marines with flamethrowers.....Best if you don't ask!)

3 (Back to the top again) packs of 2mm round MDF bases

3 Foundry tubs of paint (Bargain they cost a pound each)

4 Packs of EMP miniatures. Not a company I had heard of but one I will be getting more stuff from. Trust me they are figures best not thought about. (I will get more at Salute though).

Well that's my loot list I will do a show report in a day or so and YES there was a zombie game.

Thanks for looking feel free to comment or not as the mood takes you,
all the best Clint

  1. Cracking haul Clint. Haven't been to Cavalier myself for a few years and good to see you've certainly bought a fair few goodies from the show. Looking forward to seeing the WW1 aircraft painted up - not something I've ever attempted. Glad you made it back safe too. Weather's awful down South at the moment.

    1. Thanks Simon. Lots of goodies all for different things. Expect diversity and I don't mean Mr Banjo! To be honest a few thing I have no idea what to do with.... But they are the ones I most want to paint.

  2. Expect a haul of "Pineapple tribe" at Salute. Yum yum... hahahaha!

If you painted the ones in the display case they look very very very good.

I like of the beaten track. Thanks Loki!

    1. Not a problem to tell you my plans, it will only make God laugh! All the WW2 stuff is for the new edition of PBI. The EMP and Artizan figures are for a game next year and I just want to paint them. The Planes are for my next PBB game. The 10mm Sams are just to bulk out my existing 2 armies. The Pain, flock and bases are to replace items used up.

      Thanks Bryan.
But about this new zombie game......

    1. Thanks Millsy. I now have some WW1 Canvas eagles! It nearly got a lot worse at the end when I found some cheap dark age figs. So I have limited it to 4 projects and replacement bases paint etc...
