Victorian Nere-do-wells_ 28mm

A selection of figures again for Matt of Victorian low life. They are all 28mm figures and either Artizan or Foundry. And from various ranges. No group shot, I tried to take one but it came out too dark and no details could be seen at all.

Some characters (like Bill Sykes) are from Dickens or the "Mad Hatter" (2nd pic 2nd figure) are much more Lewis Carol. Some of them are purely game pieces and do not relate to fiction al all. But however you look at it not people you want to get stuck in a lift with if they are in a bad mood.

next time around my last (at least for a few weeks) ECW figure. After that probably some 15mm WW2. But at this stage I do not know as It really could e anything.

Thanks for looking. have a good weekend and if the mood takes you watch some Olympics!

  1. These look suitably dark, menacing and dangerous. A great group of villains, Clint.
As for watching the Olympics I can't think of anything more boring or pointless! The same applies to all sport! Ugh!

    1. Thanks Bryan. I like the winter Olympics MORE than the summer Olympics, but I am not a huge sports fan. So if the mood does not take you do something else.

yes I do believe these have come out quite dark and ominous, which I must say was my plan.

    1. Thanks Dave. As mentioned in comments |I suspect they are planned for "In Her Majesties Name!". As for the rougher side of the tracks, I think more a "Rookerie" of slums.

  8. Great colour choices Clint. Those you've used really do suit and work well with the figures. Interesting to see how you've done the bases too, would have loved to have seen a top-down photo to get a good look at the 'urban' look.

    1. Thanks Roy. As I have not taken anypics yet for tomorrows blog post I am sure I can squese a top down pic of one of these (As well as the ECW Cav)

These bases are about the easiest I do. So if you want to copy them it would be a good place to start.

    1. Thanks Matt. As wargamers one member of the club is building a "Ripper" setting, which shall be really cool when finished. (The builder is a "Ripperologist" by the way with a very large interest in the murders.)

    1. Thank you Colgar. Something sensible next time. Just working out ECW or ww2 at the moment. Actually the WW2 is not that sensible so I think It will be ECW.

    1. Thank you Captain. Always nice to have a comment from a new face. I think I have another guy with a bomb in the unpainted bag. I shall have to dig him out and get him nearer to the top.
