1 more point. (Yawn)

Yes nothing too inspiring today. Just a single point of British line troops for Donnybrook. * soldiers of drilled quality using a d8. And a Sgt who will also use a d8. Like the others these are Black Hat figures 15mm Malburian range.

Not so much more I can say about these but I will say I have a British Cavalry unit on the paint table which I am trying to finish before Sunday when I will host a game at my club.

That's it for today. Not so much as last time. I know but we have to be realistic and expect peeks and troughs. I can't always work flat out.

Have a good couple of days and I will see you all soon for the PBB game on Saturday.

All the best Clint.

  1. And very nice they are too, but when will we see them in action ? You must be close to being ready and eager to use them too.

  2. Very impressive, Clint. I find it a chore to paint the lacing on tricornes in 28mm - at 15mm, it's clearly indicative of your superb brushwork.

  3. Nice job on those reds. Poor Paint Monkey, I think he needs a break.

    1. Thank you Anne. I think that Paint monkey needs to knuckle down before he feels the back of my hand.

  4. Those red coats sure look lovely... to shoot at. Buck up old boy at least its not 86F with 90% humidity like it is where I am.

    1. Thank you Bob. Yawning just because I seem to be doing the same thing over and over.

  7. Nice work Clint. These seem quite bright for some reason but I really like it though.

  8. They look grand, Clint! Not yawn inducing at all! I also appreciate the skirmish basing you are using for this project.
I haven't bought Donnybrook yet nor Beneath the Lily banners, yet I am curious if these fellows may be doing some double duty in the latter ruleset. Or is BtLB more set battle and not skirmish?

    1. Donnybrook is definitely skirmish while BtLB is for big battles. Both the same period and author but very different. Of the two I think I prefer Donnybrook just because it is easier to paint the figures being as there are less to paint. Thank you David.
