2 more Boards

Well it's raining heavens hard here at the moment so I am reluctant to walk across the "Somme" of the lawn and get to the shed. So here are the three boards ready to be painted. Luckily I bought some more pain yesterday so I should (I hope) be able to get the first coat on them today, this afternoon. After the monsoon!
In keeping with the other boards each board has 3 road entrances and while this does not give as many possibilities as 4 would is sufficient for a fairly random layout.

Thanks for popping by today, all the best Clint

  1. I really hope that "I bought some more pain yesterday" is a typo :-) !

I'm looking forward to seeing how these boards turn out.

    3. Thank you Tamsin. I believe that your political humour far exceeds my political knowledge.

    1. Thanks Bryan. As mentioned above these boards will not be special in any ways. As for the "pain" yeah maybe no wonder the spell checker did not pick it up. Yeah it should be "Paint"

  5. S & M rules !
Good progress on the boards and though I still dislike centrally placed road (and mores especially rivers) on terrain boards, these will fit well with your current ones.

    1. I know what you mean about the roads and rivers but it does make them all interchangeable. Thanks Joe

  6. Seeing these is making want to get back to creating terrain boards, but I simply don't have the space at the moment.

    1. Thank you Michael. I am just re-using old boards so no new builds. I now need more paint! (and a bit more pain no doubt!)

  7. Looks great so far, I like all the little features and different shades. Should look fantastic when it's done.

And communications are more or less always the objective, so roads are very fitting on the board :P

    1. Thank you Mathyoo. It has now had a third paint job. But it really does need to be more yellow than it is now so another coat of paint tomorrow.

  8. Looking forward to how these turn out. Just finishing off some modern day 6mm Middle Eastern Alliance myself, so want to see how your project turns out before I decide whether to make a board or two myself. Buying yourself lots of pain though is putting me off :-)

    1. Thank you Blax. These boards are going to be nothing special. Just very simple desert boards. They should marry up to the boards in my header. I now Have more pain(t) so I should carry on with these today. 6mm Arab Israeli wars (1973) may well be a project for the future for me.
