11 More WW1 Germans (Paint monkey)

Well back painting for Matt. Yes today we have a further 11 WW1 dismounted German cavalry. Not so very much to say, just more of the same and the blue/grey has come out looking more blue in the photos, just like last time. The auto correct seems to be doing this now still they look right in real life and that's the important thing.

A mixture of makes with many head-swaps and now safely back in Matts collection. Allowing me to get on with some of my own in the next few days as to what they will be though I have no idea.

Sorry it's so brief today As I have not been having such a good time recently, but with luck that is behind me and I can step onwards once more.

Cheers Guys.

  1. Nice work Clint. I didn't realize the Germans used blue/grey uniforms for cavalry. I like the covered helmets too.

    1. Thanks Adam, The colour should be greyer with just a hint of blue. Have a look at the Airfix WW1 German soldier box.

  2. Lovely work, Clint. I am always torn when I see you show WW1 stuff between reading the post ASAP for goodies and hiding it away to prevent me from getting some of my own!

  5. They are a nice looking bunch Clint. The only way to keep the auto correct from making the uniforms look too blue is by setting the white balance on your camera before you take photo's of the miniature.

Sorry to hear things were a bit rough, but glad to hear they are getting better.

  6. Wonderfully painted as always Clint. As I've said many times, I'm a huge fan of the way you paint these WW1 minis. Just cracking stuff :-)

    1. Thanks C6. WW1 is also not really my thing, but I do seem to paint a lot of it! Something very different tomorrow I think. Then back to WW1.
