BUF (Part 2)

Well it was going to happen sooner or later, and probably sooner! So here is Part 2 of Matts British Union of Fascists. This time an MG team. As with the previous figures they are 28mm Musketeer Miniatures sold in this Country by Footsore Miniatures.

We have the MG Loader, Gunner and Sargent commanding the team. All nice figures and all well cast and sculpted. Only one of these has bathed in Dettol so you can see when dried of and painted they do not come out to Bad at all.

Overall I am quite happy with them, as always there are things to do differently.

In Part 3, oh yes there will be a part 3 on Tuesday. I will show the other figures, the officers and a group shot of them all together. And then they are all done, unless Matt buys some more.

Thanks for Looking today and the others are nearly done, just some finishing off and tidying up to do! So with luck see you again on Tuesday.

All the best Clint

    1. Cheers Martin. Influenced by several factors, every thing from Ming the merciless to Hugo Boss and Spanish and Italian military uniforms of the period.

  4. Well done again Clint! I like the way you've based them and the background you shot them against really makes them pop.

Looking forward to seeing that group shot!

    1. Cheers Roy. Just finished all the rest. Now gonna start some 15mm Zulu war British colonial. But first a little resty!

I suspect that Matt will buy some more from Stu at Skirmish IF he has anything suitable! Postie will spend enough money anyway! LOL

    2. I keep raiding the new cowboy / victorian stuff that comes in second hand ... that's why I've so many female figures now in my collection

    1. Cheers C6. AS wargamers we tend to overlook the politics. Which allows us to play Fantasy "Dark elves" or "Ocs" just as much as German Troops in WW2 with a clear conscious and I for one am glad of a clear conscious!

  8. Great looking group to provide the heavier support for the squad; they look to fit in really well. I'm impressed too with how animated these and the others look, I feel they'll look quite distinctive on the table-top.
