Two Less well known Traders.

Here are a few of the less well known traders that were at the Broadside (Sittingbourne show). I mean absolutely no disrespect when I type this as I think they all have something to offer. And while they may not be new to you they are new to me. And for tat reason alone worth a shout!

Firstly WTW (Or Wargames Terrain Workshop.) Click for a ( LINK ). While they were not present in person Jim from Rochester Games and Models (Local seller link) had a large range well displayed. I have not spoken to the owners (Tori and Jim so I do not know but  )I imagine it all sold rather well.  I rather hope  so.

Another trader I would recommend. is BLOTZ. (Blotz link)I had previously not hear of them which clearly is my mistake. They seemed to be doing a good business on the day. MDF terrain of a quality and cheaper than elsewhere. I will most definitely be looking for them at future shows and maybe a sneaky mail order as well. Really nice guys and very helpful (at least to me). So well worth checking for mdf terrain. Seriously just click the link I doubt you will be disappointed).

Most of the other traders I knew... OK I did not know the airbrush supplies company, but then I do not have an airbrush so I would not.

Sorry it is a brief post today. Things to do and a shed to paint.....

All the best Clint

  1. Both these traders do great stuff. I have WTW's African Village. Blotz do some interesting items. I recently ordered some acrylic tokens and measuring sticks for Congo.

    1. Thank you Simon. I also have some WTW stuff but would like more. I have yet to buy anything from Blotz but feel it is just a matter of time.

  2. I can highly recommend Wargames Terrain Workshop, which has quickly become my favourite company to deal with. I'm sure it's owner, Dave Stone, will appreciate the heads up.

  3. Many thank's for the highlight Clint, and to Simon and Bryan for the seal of approval.
Hope the shed painting goes well and don't forget to let the first coat really dry before drybrushing it to get that real wood look

    1. Thank you Dave Happy to help were I can. As for the shed.... It will get another coat soon as if I leave any paint in the can it dries up before I get around to using it. Therefore all the time I have paint I will keep giving it another coat (as long as there is at least a day between coats.

    1. Thank you Michael. We cannot have everything for wargaming no matter how much we do manage to smuggle into the house! But as two companies that are little known I though to give them a shout maybe someone will like them and buy a load of stuff. Maybe they will not!

  6. I don't know, you post up a handful of resin gargoyles on your blog and suddenly the chap's products are appearing at every wargaming show in the country; before you know it "Wargames Terrain Workshop" will be at the "Bovington Show" next!! ;-)

Great posting, Clint, and nice to see the 'Sultan of Scenery', Dave Stone and his company "Wargames Terrain Workshop" getting plenty of publicity from our corner of the hobby.

I too hadn't heard of "Blotz" either, but I've ordered a few bitz off of them now for "Guild Ball". Not sure if I should resultantly thank you or not :-)

    1. THank you Simon/Blax. As for thanks or not wait until they arrive and then decide. I will admit to being aware of WTW but not of Blotz. But I think we should encourage new/breaking companies that we like, you just never know do you.

  7. Ok, I'm starting to feel a big slighted here, I'd posted about "Blotz" twice in the past and no-ones heard of them..... disgraceful short term memory people! ;-)

I can of course highly recommend them, it's where I get my Bushido tokens and measuring stuff too. Great service and excellent quality.

As for Dave's stuff, it's just cracking! Brilliant! Amazing!!

    Carry on....

      Sorry no disrespect was intended.
