Having forgotten my camera for the club yesterday I will gloss of that. Just admit I lost. And forgetting my camera I am thinking of as a "senior moment".
So I thought I would carry on with some more 10mm Vehicles for my SCW collection. Yes well spotted here are two more Opel Blitz trucks (old Skytrex action 200 range) and a heavy trailer. That's a very very brief update for today, thanks for looking and I will post again on Wednesday.
Take care all the best Clint.
Building up quite a convey, cracking work Clint.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michael. Trucks really were the most common vehicle in the SCW so it's good to have a few.
Delete10:4 Rubber duck, It looks like we got us a convoy.
ReplyDelete10:10 til we do it again good buddy c'mon! (I think that's right)
DeleteDarn it! Bob beat me to the punchline!
ReplyDeleteI resist the urge to quote the lyrics. Thank you Bryan.
Delete" Senior moment", I like the expression, but this hasn't been the first time you've 2forgotten" your camera and lost a game. It's all becoming a bit too suspicious, unless of curse dementia is actually setting in - if so please just forget the above.
ReplyDeleteTrucks look great and there were indeed lots of truck in the SCW (mostly rubbish), some with very interesting conversions iirc.
I know I forget the camera a lot. It is the last thing I put in the bag to take. I have no excuses it was a fearsome loss on Sunday but at least it will give a good rationale for a follow up game.
DeleteSCW I have enough finished now for a battle! I am not calling the project finished by any means but perhaps the end of the beginning.
Thank you oh suspicious one.
I look forward to seeing your SCW collection in a battle.
ReplyDeleteI shall show the troops so far on Wednesday. Not in battle but just on the tabletop. It will also allow me to see what I have in one place at a time. And Maybe work out what else I need.
DeleteThank you Robert.
Looking good mate nice additions to the project.
ReplyDeleteThank you Simon. Been a while so may have to start some Zombies soon.
DeleteMore trucks? Make sure you set up a proper game for them! While they were numerous, I don't think many were involved in actual combat :P
ReplyDeleteThe scenario is in hand. Do not worry, just because I have trucks and trailers I seriously doubt they will al be needed. I do still have more Africa Korps trucks so I might repaimt them all just to annoy you!
DeleteThank you Mathyoo.
Yep, it'll be nice to see the whole lot at once now that you've all but completed them. Of course, a game report would be good too :-) .
ReplyDeleteI have a few games in the planning. One with Ray and Fran and Big Lee so you know that one will be covered in a lot (too much) detail.
DeleteCheers C6. I have now photographed the figures for Wednesday. But not checked them yet.
Like the trucks.. but as for the loss.. if you at least had a good game then who cares really right? What's that old adage? It's not if you win or lose but how you play the game.. I keep that mantra as I get back into gaming and my winning percentage being in the low single digits percentage wise ;)
ReplyDeleteIf I was worried about if I won or lost I would have given up wargaming decades ago! Thanks Mate.
DeleteI don't know if it was a loss as such as you drubbed the Maudist hoard. It was the loss of the fort, which left the column nowhere to go that put you on the back foot. I've a idea for the follow on game so by the end of it we will have played a mini campaign without realising it.
ReplyDeleteThat appeals to me Tim. Linked scenarios always appeal. I feel the loss of the fort was the deciding factor in the game. I don't feel the need to take total blame though.
DeleteThanks for the comment mate.
