  1. It looked a good show, from the pictures I've seen on your's and various other blogs.
The weather was terrible in my area over the weekend, which helped to make me decide to give our local show a miss. Hopefully the weather is better in the South East than it is in the NE.

    1. Oh. I had a look at those Brigade Aeronef models after seeing your's yesterday. I doubt I'll play them, but I really do like the look of the Spanish fleet.

    2. Thank you Roy. Aeronef is not a game for everyone.... Infract it is only a game that will ever appeal to a few. The Spanish fleet is the newest fleet so Tony et al. have learnt a lot from doing earlier fleets.

The weather was very hot yesterday and is equally hot today. Hope it picks up for the North of the country soon.

And Stu should have 2 figures(Samples) for you.

    3. Hello Clint. Thanks for the info. You're email is in the inbox but with with all of the things I've had to do I've not gotten around to it yet. Thanks.

    4. No worries mate. Take your time.
But you will have to paint them to suit your self. I hope they are of use to you if you do want to do East Africa.

  2. All of the games you showed looked very good indeed. It is very heartening to see gamers making the effort with their game boards at a public convention. I wish I was there. As Roy said, we had terrible weather here in the north east.

    1. Thank you Bryan. Sorry about the weather. Just wish there was something I could do. Yes I agree a lot of the games did look very good.

  3. Some good looking games there Clint, Roy missed very little at the Durham do, even considering the monsoon-like weather. I'm pleased you remembered the camera too!

    1. Thank you Joe. I made sure I put the camera in the bag BEFORE my packed lunch! (i.e. Saturday night). You know me and cameras. so easy to forget. Shame your show was not so good.

    1. Thank you Dave. I agree, but it could be more so. There were no Fantasy games that I recall nor any Napoleonic's. Who knows what will be seen at the next show though.

    1. Thank you Tamsin. There was a nice mix. There are always a few ww2 games though and I do not mind that as long as they are all a bit different

  7. Like you I only managed a quick run around the hall towards the end of the show, literally just a few minutes and a handful of photo's. Such a busy day but completely brilliant.

    1. Thank you Michael. While the Jurassic park game did look good it was not my favourite. For me it was Texas 1919. But the joy is there were several that really did take my eye.

    1. Thank you Matt. I may even do another quick blog post tomorrow. Just to cover some of the less common traders at the show.

I agree seeing some good games always does give me some inspiration as well.

    1. Thanks Carl. It is only a local show so better to attend Selwg or even Cavalier at present. But it is now an established show and it can always grow in years to come (Although it would need a bigger venue to do so)>
