Yes as promised here are some more Burpas. There are 20 in all from a variety of manufacturers. Although most are either Ironclad or Foundry. If you cannot see any of them it is because they are behind others. But trust me there are 20 of them.
There is a little bit of overlap in the last 2 pics but I just could not get them all in one photo. As you can see I have tried in the top pic but so many are hidden I really needed the bottom 2 pics.
They go back to Matt tomorrow and with luck any changes he wants will be very minor.... but you never can tell.
That's it for today.
A zombie tomorrow and then with luck a club game report on Monday. But as I am not in the mood for a club game I may give it a miss. You never know.
Great looking Burps Clint!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ray. I will try to squeeze some fantasy in soon just for you.
DeleteVery nice Burpas Clint, can't see Matt having many problems with those
ReplyDeleteThank you Dave. I doubt he will, but you never know perhaps there is something I have missed.
DeleteIts a nice looking bunch, there. Certainly a colourful mix to match all those individual sculpts.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the proposed game for tomorrow, if I can ask? I suppose I'm just being nosy, really.
Thank you Roy. There are 2 games that I know of. One is ECW, (For some reason I do not like ECW but if you call it 30 years war I am ok with it... Yes I am strange). The Other game is Vietnam, (I do like Vietnam wargames but DO NOT like the rules they want to use, I dislike them so much I will not play it.
DeleteYes, I'm like that. I've encountered two situations this year where the group has swapped rules sets from one game to another, and I've just not taken part in the second games. It took me all my time to learn TtS! and a WW2 game, so to then have to learn two others sets and remember them was too much and I just didn't play.
DeleteAnyway, I hope you had a good weekend, whatever you got up to.
Thank you Roy. There were 3 games in all. 2 were ECW (More of that later) and one was a fantasy game.
DeleteI played in an ECW game.... which Tim who organised it called a "Barons War" game as he knows I am not an ECW fan.
I will do a report later either today or tomorrow.
Nice work again Clint :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Tamsin. I am still reading your blog but am still unable to comment
DeleteFab job Clint.
ReplyDeleteThank you Brummie. One can only hope Matt feels the same way.
DeleteGood job, Clint, plenty of colourful eye candy on show with these guys - twenty of 'em too - phew, when you crank them out you really get a lot done, don't you. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you Simon. Been working away I had 10 finished a week ago but one things drives out another.
DeleteNice stuff Clint!
ReplyDeleteThank you Paul. Good to get them all finished.
DeleteThat sure is a lot of figures, Clint, and all very well painted.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bryan. Zombies tomorrow.
DeleteYet more wonderful cannon fodder; I do like the mix of drab colours with the occasional splash of a bright colour here and there.
ReplyDeleteI've been wondering about a couple of things lately -
Firstly: When will be able to say "They're Burpas Sir, fousands of 'em"
And secondly: Is the collective noun for a group of Burpas a "Belch" ?
In the latter case you'd be able to state that you'd "Just finished another Belch of Burpas".
(Yes, it does seem that I have too much time on my hands, but I blame the meds)
Thanks Joe. I had always imagined that "Burpas" was the plural and tat "Burpa" would be the singular. But in all honesty your guess is as good as mine. As for when there will be thousands of them.... I think that may take a while yet.
DeleteColorful and beautiful Burpas Clint, well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you Phil. I am sure there will be more to come at some point
