Two more, but Oh my!

Yes 2 more figures finished. I cannot say I am happy with the lady and I might re-paint the face. Her clothes are OK but the face is a shocker.

The man though is Ok am quite happy with him. Again No idea who makes these figures they are just 2 random figures  that were laying about and needing a coat (or 2) of paint.

Both 28mm and I think different makes but I do not know.

I do have a few more stands of Japanese finished for next time. But I thought these two might just break up the Pacific flavour and scale.

All the best Clint

  1. My, what big eyes you have, grandma! Sorry, Clint, but not your finest work. The bloke is okay but that poor woman's face needs repainting.

  2. I find female faces really hard too, they are just not as forgiving.

  3. For me the female face is not bad eye's are very hard to get right, I normally get one that looks ok & one that will be all over the place.

Looking at the female again I see a lot of character in the face & like you said their not all good looking.

    1. Thank you Frank. It actually does not look too bad in real life. She is no super model but still not too bad. Either that or I need to get my eyes tested again...

Yeah she is OK but could be better. I need to try the face again and see if It will improve.

  5. That's the problem with painting eyes! Trying to paint something less than an inch wide in real life on something about 28mm tall is always going to end in disaster imho, but I reckon you've made as good a job on her as anyone else would.
(I note a bit of 'pot calling the vessel' above, which I wouldn't appreciate!)
